What you\u0026rsquo;ll do with \u0026ldquo;Our Training and Your Experience\u0026rdquo;

  • Identify market adjacency to extend Convergint\u0027s market leadership in computer vision technology beyond our traditional security and life safety customers
  • Help clients understand the transformative nature of AI based computer vision solutions and how they can reduce costs, increase profits, or achieve other business outcomes
  • Communicates project requirements to project team and wider organization as and when required.
  • Identifies potential project risks and develops/implements strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
  • Proactively communicates project schedules, project change proposals and related project activities on a regular basis with customer and seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
  • Support sales and operational resources at Convergint Technology Centers to ensure successful adoption of new technologies that use AI, machine learning, Cloud computing, and similar disruptive technologies.
  • May coach and mentor developing colleagues.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
  • Creates estimates, bill of materials, and proposals
  • Track and update sales activities

  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and sustaining productive business relationships.
  • Desire to learn, understand, and apply solutions to customer challenges.
  • Proven experience working with a team to provide effective customer solutions.
  • Ability to build customer confidence and cultivate business relationships
  • Demonstrated success in proactively identify sales \u0026 service opportunities.
  • Ability to adapt to business changes with the ability to influence others.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office \u0026ndash; especially MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Strong presentation and communication skills

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

\u0026nbsp;

Minimum Experience: 1-3 years sales, business development or equivalent

\u0026nbsp;

Preferred Experience: (but not required):\u0026nbsp; Sales professional with a minimum of one year of previous account development, sales or relevant experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience with selling managed services solutions, cloud solutions based on Microsoft Azure or AWS, and multi-year service contracts. Experience with selling electronic security and/or building automation or previous experience in engineering or field services experience a plus.
