Overview
The Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Development Business Unit develops solar projects (rooftop, ground mount or carport) for K-12 Schools, universities, municipal & county governments, and private business clients. Typical projects include power purchase agreements with onsite solar arrays ranging from 300kWdc to 3MWdc.
The Account Manager works with financiers and external contractors to ensure that Sun Tribe’s clients have an excellent experience throughout the engineering, permitting and construction phases of their solar project. Account Manager will serve as Sun Tribe’s lead for projects once development scope is completed. Responsibilities include attending project team meetings, reviewing project documentation & plans, proactively resolving conflicts, managing risk to the project, and advising clients on issues & key decisions.
The Account Manager reports to the Director of EPC and works closely with the origination & development teams, the Director of C&I Strategy and Operations, external contractors, and clients.

You Will
Basic Qualifications
Direct experience representing clients or consulting is required. Ideal candidates will have served as a client account manager or relationship manager.
Demonstrated experience in construction, project management, or related field.
Demonstrated experience and understanding of solar industry, solar technology, and solar construction project is preferred.
Skills & Experience
Ability to lead and work well with others in a collaborative team environment; capable of delegating effectively and influencing without direct authority.
Ability to leverage project management software such as MS Project, MS Excel, Smartsheet, and construction management platforms such as Procore.
Preference to those who have completed or are pursuing a NABCEP certification, Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
