Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Accounting Specialist to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will provide accounting support to major financial accounting areas, including contract billing and customer reconciliation. **What youll do with Our Training and Your Experience**
+ Inputs general ledger entries for account changes in a timely manner.
+ Develops and maintains reconciliations and files on asset and liability account balances.
+ Ensures accurate balancing from a corporate perspective from our financial centers.
+ Develops and maintains regular reports via the companys accounting system.
+ Serves as a liaison between the corporate office and the company's multiple field offices (CTCs).
+ Researches and responds to all management inquiries in a timely fashion.
+ Maintains financial security by following internal accounting procedures.
+ Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
+ Assists with bank and cash daily and monthly reconciliations, calculating accruals and posting journal entries, maintenance of fixed asset ledgers, and journal entry uploads.
+ Completes ad hoc reporting and projects as determined by management.
+ Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
**What Youll Need**
+ Knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, policies and procedures that is reflective of the financial services industry.
+ Proven, solid Excel skills and exposure to automated accounting systems.
+ High level attention to detail with proven ability to make very few errors.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
+ Strong mathematical aptitude and natural knack to pay attention to all details to ensure the highest of quality standards.
+ Ability to analyze, research items and provide thoroughness information.
+ Demonstrate great organizational skills.
+ Solid time management skills and deadline-oriented.

**Requirements:**
Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience
+ Associate degree in Accounting is preferred
Minimum Experience: 2 years accounting or accounts payable/receivable desk
