**Description** Convergint is looking for a full-time, entrepreneurial, results driven and forward-thinking leader to join our dynamic culture. In this role, you will build a national vertical strategy, prospect and cultivate new relationships, gain an understanding of the Aerospace & Defense Market with the goal of securing and growing strategic accounts. As a market leader, you are leading this initiative for the State, Local, Education and Defense (SLED) team that allows you to create new growth opportunities as Convergint rapidly expands in this vertical market. + Work with leadership on the business development and operational alignment of the strategic vertical market. + Develop market awareness through networking, facilitating customer round tables, event attendance and industry associations. + Build relationships with executive decision makers, consultants, contractors and end-user prospects to cultivate and identify new opportunities. + Identify large strategic account targets and develop and implement the strategic roadmap and growth plan. + Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations and RFP responses. + Collaborate with premier partners in the aerospace and defense vertical market. + Support the strategic focus of digital transformation, cybersecurity and managed services. + Partner with sales colleagues to execute growth, development, sales and marketing of all solutions. + Oversight of operations colleagues to ensure consistent delivery across multiple offices around the globe. + Provide feedback to senior management regarding performance.
