Analyst III, Business Systems Administration R18-557

POSITION PURPOSE

Manage the ongoing planning, operation, and end user support of operations (Generation, Substation, T&D) applications including Work Management, Asset Management, Scheduling, Mobile Workforce Management, and Outage Management systems. This Business Process Analyst works within a team of Generation, Substation, and T&D business professionals and supports the business Asset Owner of these operations applications. Therefore, this position is expected to have a broad understanding of business processes in operations and how our applications can impact these work processes.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of applicable experience.
  • Proficient in Business Process Management methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience working in Utility and/or Manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proficient analytical and problem solving skills with ability to conceptualize solutions and develop alternatives to complex problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to proficiently communicate complex or controversial subject matter to users, management, or IT.
  • Proactive contribution of expertise, experience, creativity, and innovation to problem solving.
  • Strong dedication and commitment to meet stakeholder needs with aggressive timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with or lead cross-functional groups, and to contribute to accomplishing goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time, tasks, and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Competent project management skills and ability.
  • Familiarity with corporate software tools used by operations, experience in Maximo preferred.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes.
  • Familiar with interfaces and affected systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of business value drivers and how systems contribute to business value.
  • Thorough knowledge of key user’s business processes, and comprehensive knowledge of selected business processes.
  • Working knowledge of corporate financial accounting principles.
