The successful candidate will join Citis Commercial Bank Working Capital Solutions (WCS) group, which assists companies in effectively deploying cash and operating liquidity. WCS is composed of three product pillars: Commercial Cards, Citi Supplier Finance (CSF) and Trade Services.

This individual will be responsible for developing successful supplier acquisition sales programs for the Citi Supplier Finance (CSF) product which provides working capital and cash flow benefits to our Institutional Clients Group (ICG) buyer/clients and their suppliers. She or he will need to grow a portfolio of business in terms of both revenue and assets, as well as act as the primary supplier acquisition program contact for the allotted portfolio of names. He or she will be responsible for working with trade sales, banking, and operations to ensure rapid and effective sales and implementation to maximize revenue for this customer base.


+ Produce and exceed revenue and asset targets annually to strengthen the Trade P&L

+ Work with sponsoring CCB clients to develop high impact strategies to execute successful supplier finance sales programs

+ Sell, follow-up, and sign prospective clients on to the Citi Supplier Finance program/platform, which are suppliers to Citi Commercial Bank relationships (i.e.: Buyers)

+ Build robust active program pipeline, and track items moving to closure for existing and new programs

+ Negotiate pricing and contracts

+ Work with suppliers' creditors to ensure Citi receives required priority interest in asset financed

+ Ensure all supplier documentation/agreements are completed and due diligence is performed

+ Develop and tailor high impact marketing/sales programs in support of acquisition strategies

+ Single point of contact managing account meetings with sponsoring ICG clients (Buyer) to track program progress, shifts in client needs, markets, competition and future aspirations to better position Citi Supplier Finance

+ Work closely and in partnership with the Trade program manager, product and sales teams on customer prioritization, account planning and goal setting


+ 5+ years of banking experience, including 2+ years' Trade experience

+ The successful candidate must have and be able to command a high degree of credibility with the corporate banking coverage teams, Risk and the TTS solution sales teams.

+ Formulation and implementation of business strategy across all corporate customer segments.

+ High energy level, a strong work ethic and continuous desire to learn

+ Strong selling/client-facing and interpersonal skills with a passion to continually improve

+ Strong project management skills that require coordination with individuals at different levels within the organization

+ Proven strategic and analytical abilities; excellent written and oral communication skills
