Banking Specialist 1 (Smith Hamilton)

The position may also work on larger projects with greater complexity as needed. The Banking Specialist I is expected to be skilled in at least one of the three areas of specialization: locksmiths, drive up and electronic. Installs equipment and services/supports existing customers by responding to service calls. Drive up Specialists install, repair, rebuild, and service remote drive up systems, audio and video equipment. Locksmiths handle a variety of locking mechanisms from basic drawer locks to more complex locking devices such as vaults, secure keyways, and other systems unique to the banking industry. Electronics Specialists provide support for a variety of electrical and electronics projects.

1.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a variety of systems and equipment for drive up, locksmith and electronic projects with guidance as needed.\u0026nbsp; Refers more complex issues to higher level Specialists.\u0026nbsp; Systems include but are not limited to all manufacturers drive up equipment (including remote drive up), deal drawers, audio and video equipment related to drive up banking.\u0026nbsp; Repairs or replaces damaged components of remote units.

2.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Troubleshoots, repairs, and replaces all components of remote, audio and video equipment.\u0026nbsp; May install, configure, and support a variety of network systems and equipment for assigned projects.\u0026nbsp; Performs preventative maintenance as needed.

3.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Handles smaller, less complex installations for the remote units such as alert systems.\u0026nbsp; Assists in the installation of new units with final connections, testing and training.

4.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Responds to routine and some non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, and emergency and after-hours service calls on a timely basis.\u0026nbsp; Work assignments are varied, and of moderate scope and complexity.

6.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Identifies potential project challenges, communicates to appropriate parties and assists in the development and implementation of strategies to minimize deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.

7.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Inspects completed work for conformance with specifications, requirements, and compliance with applicable with manufacturers specifications.\u0026nbsp; Proactively seeks technical guidance from more experience staff for difficult and unusual situations.

8.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Estimates cost, time, and materials for replacement equipment.

9.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Cleans, maintains, adjusts, calibrates, and services equipment used in the performance of duties.

10.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Executes all work in accordance with State and local regulations, general best practices as well as company health and safety policies and procedures.\u0026nbsp; Uses solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software systems.

11.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Acts as \u0026ldquo;our customer\u0026rsquo;s best service provider\u0026rdquo; at all times thereby ensuring Convergint Technologies is the customer\u0026rsquo;s first choice for service.

12.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Communicates with and works with the other team members consistently to improve overall operations of the Convergint Technology Center, and company.\u0026nbsp; May advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, installation techniques and standards as well as suggestions for product improvements.

13.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Keeps up to date and informed on all company policies.

14.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Presents a professional image of Convergint Technologies at all times in appearance and behavior.

15.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
