Investors Title Company and Affiliates, has an exciting opportunity for a customer oriented and objectives driven Business Project Manager. The primary role of the Business Project Manager is to support optimization of company profits and market-share by ensuring successful execution of business initiatives, by focusing on defined business success, project management disciplines, coordination, collaboration and developing and maintaining project plans. This candidate must be able to set the standard for integrity and professionalism, excite and motivate a diverse cross-functional and cross-department team, and facilitate the resolution of complex issues.

Position Highlights:

• Coordinate and collaborate with project managers as well as other departments to deliver projects impacting, or delivering solutions for, the business operations of Investors Title Insurance Company (ITIC) and Investors Title Management Services (ITMS).
• Work independently and analytically while participating in building project artifacts and provide project leadership to remove obstacles, facilitate decision-making and escalating issues timely.
• Coordinate and project manage Business Continuity Plans.
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
• Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget.
• Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
• Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client group.
• Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes.

Essential Qualifications:

• Completion of a four (4) year college degree or equivalent training and experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing projects in all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Experience managing projects driven by business objectives in a highly collaborative environment.
• Track record of customer experience focus and stakeholder management, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises.
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute on tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience leveraging project management methodologies, tools and templates where it adds value to project execution and compliance with corporate standards.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to include the composition of project artifacts to communicate and confirm requirements, decisions, findings and conclusions.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Previous experience working with title insurance, real estate, and mortgage banking business functions delivering software applications.
• Project Management certification and experience.
