The CCB Data & Analytics team responsibly leverages data across Chase to build competitive advantages for the businesses while providing value and protection for customers. The team encompasses a variety of disciplines from data governance and strategy to reporting, data science and machine learning. We have a strong partnership with Technology, which provides cutting edge data and analytics infrastructure. The team powers Chase with insights to create the best customer and business outcomes.

If yes, we are looking for a Product Manager/Owner to join our team in designing data products to meet business needs.

Our Product Manager will design data products from vision to launch, will lead customer interactions, user research and define the curated data assets required to provide business analysts high quality descriptive, prescriptive and predictive data solutions.

Our product management journey is in the very beginning stage and we are looking for a product manager that can take us to the next level.

About you

  • Strong aptitude for technical concepts and ideas
  • Hands-on - can and willing to code to propel ideas into products
  • Self-directed contributor with a proven track record of ownership and results
  • Able to work under limited direction and ambiguous details
  • Ability to understand your users and efficiently structure their business problems to come up with practical data solutions to create favorable business impact.
  • Great communicator, able to convey complex information in an understandable, compelling, and persuasive manner. Solid presentation skills, including presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in small and medium sized project teams

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industry experience in building financial data management solutions for a bank, payment processor, lender, fintech, bureau, aggregator.
  • Or 5+ years of hands-on analytics/data science expertise covering data sourcing, data analysis, data manipulation, data reporting (BI tools) in financial services for a bank, payment processor, lender, fintech, bureau, aggregator.
  • Experience in one of these domains a plus: Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Wealth Management, Card Services, Auto, Home Lending.
  • Experience in one of these a plus: Customer Profitability, Customer Journey Analytics, Customer Marketing
  • Experience across broad range of modern tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Scala, Python, R)
  • Comfortable around big data: i.e. able to effectively and efficiently wrangle billions of records and terabytes of data
  • Experience with common data vocabularies and linked data concepts a plus (RDF, DCAT, Schema.org)
  • AWS experience a plus
  • Experience with and or basic knowledge of ML powered models a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor™s degree in analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research, Physics)
