Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager for employment in New York, New York office to provide on-site construction oversight on waterfront Marine & Heavy Civil Projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for Client relationship

  • Willing to travel between NY Metro office, client office and job site(s)

  • Manages project staff & coordinates with Project Manager

  • Manages project financials including staffing & coordinates with Project Manager

  • Manages Budgets & coordinates with Project Accountant

  • Attends & hosts project meetings

  • Schedules and coordinates between AECOM; client; subconsultant and subcontractor teams

  • Develop Bid Packages including contracts to procure subconsultants & subcontractors

  • Reviews subcontracts

  • Tracks project permitting requirements

  • Manages overall project scheduling

  • Develops and negotiates Change Orders

  • Responsible for MWBE participation

Qualifications

  • BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Additional Information

  • BA/BS degree and 15 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Marine & Heavy Civil related work experience

  • Certifications: PE,CCM, NICET, PMP, DBIA

  • Software proficiency in Procore, SharePoint, MS ProjectAdditional Information:

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is 150,000 - $200,000.
