Delivery Resource Specialist

Modea Holdings, Inc.
Nashville, Tennessee

Modea is seeking a passionate Delivery Resource Specialist to join our fast paced and growing team. A Delivery Resource Specialist at Modea assigns the right people to the right project and then ensures that the project has the tools and resources necessary to support our delivery commitments and process.

What does a Delivery Resource Specialist do at Modea?

We are digital consultants first, and our project and product management teams assume this same mentality in all aspects of their work. We tackle client projects as cross-functional teams made up of software engineers, UX/designers, project managers, strategists, quality assurance, and web analysts. These teams work very closely with each other and the client to architect and build awesome, consumer-grade experiences.

While a project manager allocates the resources within their project and assigns people to the specific tasks that the project requires, a resource manager assigns the right people to the right project and then gives that project other resources necessary to complete it at the direction of the project manager. Managing and coordinating skills and availability of resources, the Delivery Resource Specialist is a role critical to Modea’s success and will report directly to the Director of Delivery.

This will consider capacity, prioritization of client engagements within Modea’s portfolio, subject matter expertise within the team, future resourcing needs, and work closely with business stakeholders to ensure client engagements are staffed with the necessary, qualified project teams, and are supported by the appropriate Delivery Operations SaaS tools.

This is a job for the avid multi-tasker who will excel at producing high-quality, accurate work in a fast-paced environment influenced by Lean Agile practices.  This is a full-time position located at one of our offices: in Blacksburg, VA, or Nashville, TN.

Why should I apply?

First, you’ll love the work we do and the people you’ll get to do it with. We’ve assembled an exceptionally smart and hardworking team and you’ll enjoy the work associations and general camaraderie with other “Modeans.” We also work with great clients who value our contributions and work side-by-side with us.

Second, Modea offers a great benefits package that provides both a fun and enjoyable workplace and great perks that will improve your quality of life:

  • Modern, open plan office
  • Team lunches
  • Generous health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401k with fully vested company matching
  • Long term & short term disability

Some of these benefits, like parties and snacks, have had to adapt to the remote work environment we are currently in, but our operations team has found innovative ways to support our team, from regular care packages to a work-from-home stipend. We take care of our team.

The working environment here at Modea is one of accountability and autonomy. We are working to solve big problems. So we expect a lot, but give team members the tools, freedom, and flexibility to come up with great solutions. Together, our team is developing world-class technology that will change the way healthcare is delivered.
