Best Value Technology, Inc. is seeking to identify a Deputy Program Manager to join our team on this long-term, high-profile contract supporting the acquisition process to a federal customer in the Intelligence Community. The Deputy Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing administrative, technical and functional team members and working collaboratively to successfully develop assessments and identify process improvement opportunities. The Deputy Program Manager will serve as a point of contact for the department (and customer in the absence of the Program Manager) and will be responsible for ensuring the completion of all deliverables in the absence of the Program Manager.




  • Manage and ensure successful completion of requirements performed including those completed by subcontractors and vendors.
  • Ability to regularly communicate with the customer to ascertain program needs including technical, cost and schedule performance.
  • Inform the COTR immediately of any circumstances expected to have a material effect on the contract.
  • Supporting source selection plans, source selection strategies, requirements documentation and technical evaluations.
  • Ability to analyze program effectiveness and plan for and implement process improvement techniques.
  • Conduct business data analysis of program information to ensure compliance with regulations, gather data to identify and track trends, provide information to other team members and assist in responding to the results of audits and quality checks to stakeholder reviews and other evaluations.
  • Assist in creating, updating and enhancing internal documents and processes.
  • Experience with preparing and presenting visualization capabilities including process flow charts, tables and graphics.


  • BS/BA
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) strongly preferred.


  • Minimum 10 years of program management experience with 3 years specializing in the support of federal acquisition/source selection lifecycle management experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience supporting customers during the source selection process for the federal government.
  • Ability to assist with strategic-level issues, policies and procedures, analyzing cost and price data and developing objectives.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills associated with evaluating and determining standards.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills including preparing and presenting oral and written presentations.
  • Experience preparing visual graphics including process flow charts, tables and graphics.
