Responsibilities The Deputy Program Manager is responsible for assisting the Program Director integrate and coordinate technical projects in accordance with contract requirements and policies, procedures, and guidelines. Manages project operations and all support resources for the performance of assignments and activities to ensure production schedules are met, system resources are utilized effectively, and that proper relationships are established among various Information Operations customers. Provides technical direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with mission objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Performs risk management activities and apply policies and techniques to reduce risks. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Assist in the management of a different mission areas to support the Program Director. Supervise, manage, support, and evaluate personnel. Determines candidates for employment/termination, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff and is responsible for the application of company policies
