We take great pride in protecting the lives and assets of our customers and their communities with the solutions we provide. **What youll do with Our Training and Your Experience** **Estimator** + Expertise in creating quotes using playbook design standards + In-depth analysis of plans, functional specifications and site visits in order to determine and advise on overall project requirements. + Prepare estimates and quotes for each project utilizing estimation software tool. Respond to customer requests for information including the completion of RFIs and RFPs. + Understand requirements and articulate the value proposition of CTC products and services to customer. + Provide input, review and coordination of the preparation of shop drawings and wiring diagrams, based on project plans and specifications for completeness, showing location of devices, equipment, wiring, etc. + Advise Sales Professional and Project Manager regarding products needed for installation, identifying any items which have longer lead times. + May prepare and/or review formal submittal booklets, containing schematics, and technical literature as necessary to support each contract. + Develop solutions that meet customer requirements and work closely with sales team to develop customer implementation plans as part of sales proposals. + May develop incremental new business for the assigned territory. **Designer** + Provides design or drawing assistance for projects during the development and as-built stages of the engineered drawings. Works on projects with varying levels of complexity including the most complex design projects. Obtains electronic plans from engineers/architects/owners. Obtains design drawings from sprinkler and mechanical contractors. Creates engineered drawings (AutoCAD, etc.). Prepares record drawings and O&M manuals according to project requirements. + Works from rough sketches, schematics, and verbal instructions. Utilizes and maintain Convergint project design, documentation and submittal standards. Ensures adherence to industry standards and codes as required. Supports and maintain Convergint design standards. This position will require the ability to apply advanced drafting techniques and knowledge of practical, electrical and fabrication problems. + Reviews scope, defined product specification, application and electrical requirements for code compliance and AHJ Requirements. Work assignments are of greatest variety and complexity. + Participates in internal design review meetings as coordinated by the Project Managers. Participate in project turnover meetings with both sales and project team. Provides project team with all documentation, programming graphics, etc. according to Convergint standards and project requirements. + Preparation and procurement of all project material purchases. + Obtains project design information as required from vendors, insurance carriers, owners, consultants and AHJ as required. Obtains and facilitate all project permits. + Prepares submittal packages according to project requirements or Convergint standards. Pipeline/funnel management experience.
