The Global CCB business is dramatically transforming its digital banking and product platforms by building a holistic client experience channel. The Digital Lending Product Manager is a critical strategic position that is central to the formulation of the vision and digital roadmap and leads the design and implementation of all digital lending Client journeys. The Digital Lending Product Manager will be a key enabler for this initiative in driving execution of the digitalization and simplification or our lending process, internally and externally.
**Key Responsibilities include:**
+ Leading the design and execution of the digital lending journeys, simplifying and enhancing Client experience through the lending process
+ Explore the solution context and gather insights about market dynamics, user preferences, market standards and best practice. Use these insights to inform the digital and technical product strategy that will fuel the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
+ Engage with clients and internal customers to ensure their needs are built into the product strategy and remain reflected throughout the end-to-end cycle of delivery.
+ Engage with key counterparties throughout the end to end lending process, ensuring internal processes are simplified and re-engineered prior to digitalization
+ Ensure the Delivery, Controls and Business Management pods are aligned on desired product outcomes and how the broader business vision impacts the digital product strategy.
+ Manage the backlog for the solution to ensure this is always reflective of clients current needs.
+ Work closely with the Technical Lead, Solution Architect and Release Train Engineer to guide delivery pods towards successful product delivery.
+ Commercialise the Client journeys across Commercial Bank regions/countries through coordination and communications with regional and local teams. Track adoption, experience and Client feedback through formal feedback loops and ensure iterative improvements to drive adoption
**Critical competencies for ideal candidate:**
+ Solid knowledge of financial markets and banking/lending operations.
+ Professional experience in FinTech or Digital Banking, as well as knowledge of digital policies in the financial sector.
+ Work dynamically and adopt an entrepreneurial mindset to ensure the services and products developed remain relevant in a rapidly evolving space.
+ Ability to motivate and empower teams to deliver valuable products or services to customers.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence across internal and external globally dispersed teams.
+ Experience working with control functions and regulatory frameworks in the financial sector would be advantageous.
**Qualifications:**
+ 10+ years of experience
+ Experience leading cross-functional team to define and achieve high value business goals
+ Broad and diverse functional experience (e.g. marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, analytics)
+ Demonstrated experience driving business innovation, leveraging management information, and data analytics to drive results
+ Experience in scenario development and forecasting as well as experience serving a range of clients
+ Demonstrated knowledge of product development, financial acumen, and investment processes across asset classes
+ Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
+ Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
+ Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
+ Demonstrated analytical and influencing skills
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Additional Qualifications:
+ At least 3 years experience developing financial digital experiences and driving their adoption.
+ Experience in product development highly desired (does not have to be Financial Services).
+ Domain experience in Wholesale Lending highly desired, including knowledge of relevant risk trends, technology, industry standards and vendor landscape.
+ Technical background and/or strong technical competency a plus.
+ Passionate about the client experience, open to new ideas and new ways of doing things.
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written must be able to sell to others and easily summarize & simplify complex concepts.
+ Strong influencing skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of seniority across a matrixed organisation a plus.
+ Proficient problem solver, can remove obstacles with minimal involvement from seniors.
+ Has a sense of urgency, thrives in a rapidly evolving environment.
**Education:**
+ Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
+ Masters degree preferred
