Responsible for writing user stories that align to the product features. Ensures the pipeline (backlog) stays full and is prioritized. Internally focused on the Agile team and implementation. Senior Product Owner plays a significant role in quality and is the only team member empowered to accept user stories as done. Supports one or more Agile team. This role has significant relationships outside the local team, including working with the Product Manager to prepare features and user stories for continual planning cycles. Mentors other product owners and provides direction on more complex features.\u003Cbr\u003E \u003Cbr\u003E As a Product Owner for the Discover Home Equity Loans public site, will be responsible for maintaining the backlog for the Business Technology team, as well completing business owned updates on it\u0027s website, via. AEM, wordpress, Adobe Launch, Adobe Target, ect. Will work in conjunction with BT to ensure website\u0027s stability and follows technology best practices. Will keep up to date on competition and industry trends. Strive to deliver best in class customer experiences on the website.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EResponsibilities\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EWorks with a dedicated Agile development team to deliver complex customer/business value through product features. Is the conduit to other business partners for this team.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EProvides periodic status updates to business stakeholders and upper management. Is the point of contact for the Agile team with the business and SMEs.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EEmpowered to make all critical decisions regarding functionality and priority in the Sprint. Signs off to \u0022accept\u0022 each user story during sprint.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EManages and prioritizes the sprint backlogs continually with team input (prior to and during the backlog grooming sessions).\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ECollaborates with other Product Owners and/or Product Manager to uphold business priority and vision.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDevelops complex user stories from prioritized features in collaboration with Product Manager.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EChampions efforts to attain product vision and objectives. Writes acceptance criteria for user stories. Ensures that user stories all meet Definition of Ready (DoR) and are updated in the Agile Management Tool.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EPartners with design, UX teams and optimization teams to drive site experience and personalization.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EComplete authoring changes on the website via, AEM and WordPress, implement recommendations from SEO technical audits, improving Mobil/page performance, and ensures proper website tagging to aid analytics, personalization and re-targeting efforts.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EResponsible for evolving the website through a methodic test and learn approach; recommends effective test approaches, identifies KPI\u0027s to evaluate.
