The Director, IT Program & Product Management, with a team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Analysts, and Technical Analysts, leads a portfolio of technology projects and product development to support all business areas of FSL/FTJ.

The Director, IT Program & Product Management, partners with key stakeholders in the business and technology teams to manage the portfolios relating to each area, provide input around capacity planning and deadlines, provide transparency into the strength, spend and strategic alignment of the department to support annual planning. The Director is also accountable for developing, monitoring, tracking actual vs. projected costs, and reporting Technology budget for IT and all other business areas. 

Additionally, the Director works with other IT Directors for developing, monitoring, and communicating IT resource plan for optimizing IT capacities for most desired business needs.



  • Partner with VP of IT to establish and drive Agile Program Management practices for fast incremental deliveries that meet needs of the business stakeholders.
  • Guides and mentors the team to establish partnerships with business stakeholders to ensure business needs are understood, testable requirements are gathered, and features are continuously built, tested, and delivered in agreed upon intervals.
  • Take total ownership of project scope, cost, schedule, and delivery by engaging, tracking, and supporting all IT and non-IT business partners.
  • Partner with VP of IT to establish a Product Management practice and work with business leaders to understand and capture product development components including visions, unmet business needs, pain points, alternatives, and business value proposition canvas.
  • Work with business stakeholders to develop and deliver Technology Product roadmaps.
  • Work with VP of IT and other Directors to develop Technology budget and track actual vs. projected cost on agreed upon intervals.
  • Work with VP of IT and other IT Directors to develop and track IT resource capacity plan to determine how and when IT resource utilization could be optimized for delivering business value.
  • Overall team development and mentorship to facilitate the next generation of leaders in Project Management, Portfolio Management, and IT Business Management
  • Build strong relationships within the organization to understand the business challenges and opportunities


  • Extensive experience with guiding teams to manage projects and programs following Agile Methodologies
  • Familiarity with Product Management principles
  • Resource Capacity planning
  • Takes total Ownership for envisioning, planning, and delivering results
  • Building and mentoring high performing teams that take ownership on assigned projects and meet deadline expectations.
  • Handle multiple competing initiatives/priorities and promptly toggle between them with ease
  • Customer Service oriented; Ability to build strong partnerships with business stakeholders and IT leaders
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, as well as listening), capable of summarizing and concisely present ideas
  • Willingness to explore and drive new ideas
  • Experience in managing budgets over $5 million


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, business, or related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years with project portfolio management experience with significant Agile Delivery experience
  • Prior people management experience
  • PMP Certification desired
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project), MS SharePoint, Azure DevOps (desirable)
