Located in the heart of the Willamette Valley, the Springfield community is known for its breathtaking mountains, majestic trees, fantastic parks, and numerous arts and recreational activities. Situated in Lane County 110 miles south of Portland, Springfield is located between the beautiful McKenzie and Willamette rivers within an hour of both the Cascade Mountains and Oregon’s popular coast. It lies adjacent to I-5 within the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area and covers 15.84 square miles with a population of more than 62,000 residents.

The City of Springfield is seeking a skilled, strategic leader with a passion for building community through a commitment to economic development and revitalization.
