The EPIC Implementation Project Manager (PM) will lead and oversee PPSAT’s transition to our new EMR, EPIC.  This is a long-term (14 months) temporary position that will work through project completion including a post-completion sustainability phase. The PM will act as the primary liaison with our managed service organization (MSO) BetterHealth (BH) and our primary stakeholders to ensure each deliverable and task is completed on time and meets the specifications as outlined by BH.  The PM will coordinate all PPSAT deliverables to BH and work with the project executive sponsor and steering committee to ensure the correct resources are allocated and assigned to each project task.

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field or applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Formal Project Management training required.
  • 2 years’ experience working as a Project Manager.
  • Experience working within healthcare or health insurance organization.
  • Understands project/program needs among diverse colleagues in various departments.
  • Knowledge of Change Management principles and ability to help employees navigate the change.
  • Ability to produce accurate and precise work, detect discrepancies and resolve discrepancies all while meeting deadlines.
  • Expert in the presentation of project idea, status, solution and results.
  • Proven skills in data analysis and presentation of data.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and participate in several projects at the same time.
  • Proficiency with MS Office skills (Visio, Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong SharePoint proficiency required.
