What you\u0026rsquo;ll do with \u0026ldquo;Our Training and Your Experience\u0026rdquo;

  • Oversee overall site management of project(s) for successful and timely completion within budget and scope of work as required by the contract.\u0026nbsp; Work with the Project Coordinator to prepare project installation plan and implement job procedures.
  • Supervise Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors in the field.\u0026nbsp; May perform managerial responsibilities including but not limited to: mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues; planning, assigning and directing work.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors including directing on-site activities and verifying quality assurance standards.
  • Work closely with the Project Coordinator to assist in the overall coordination of specific projects; make recommendations regarding potential changes in scope and identify ways to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
  • Identify potential project risks, communicate to appropriate parties and assist in the development and implementation of strategies to minimize impact and to control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
  • Responsible for overall quality of the installation in accordance with national and local codes, and company standards.
  • Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm \u0026 life safety, and/or building automation. \u0026nbsp;Colleague is key interface for the provision of technical support and training for the customer and as such is accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You\u0026rsquo;ll Need

  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to regularly work under pressure; consistent ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted
  • Strong supervision skills and installation experience related to building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems; may adapt procedures, processes, tools to meet the more complex requirements of the job
  • Strong field supervision skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions
  • Must be a self-starter and work well without supervision
  • Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; advanced math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.)
  • Frequent visits to jobsites are required. Minimal overnight travel is required. Valid driver\u0026rsquo;s license required.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly proficient computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 5+ years.

Preferred Certifications (not required): Lenel, Software House, Genetec, Axis, Milestone, Avigilon, AMAG
