Job Summary

In this role, you will set direction for grants related projects within the Minnesota Department of Education. You will provide planning, coordination, analysis, professional support, communication, and training for outgoing grant Requests for Proposals (RFP's) as well as for formula, competitive and partnership grants. Duties include:

- Leading project planning, analysis, and related professional support and communication for incoming federal formula grants and supporting competitive and partnership grants;

- Providing planning and related professional support and coordination for outgoing grant Request for Proposals (RFP's);

- Creating, providing, and updating department wide grants training.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Four years of professional experience as a project manager or grants manager

OR

A bachelor's or master's degree and three years of professional experience as a project manager or grants manager

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with multiple different types of grants including formula grants, competitive grants, and/or legislatively mandated grants;

Government and/or education project management and implementation experience
