**Description** Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Instructional Designer to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will provide new hire and incumbent development utilizing adult learning methodologies and practices, facilitation of lectures, webinars, hands-on and web-based training. Course development, either working independently, or assisting subject matter experts will be an integral part of this role. We take great pride in protecting the lives and assets of our customers and their communities with the solutions we provide. **What youll do with Our Training and Your Experience** + Collaborates and works closely with subject matter experts to identify learning needs, develop learning objectives, and ensure content matches those objectives. Effectively and continuously liaise between SMEs to gather, create, validate, update and retire content. + Creates and maintains organization-wide courses that support business strategy and enable the attainment of business goals and objectives including: the design, development and delivery of leadership materials/curriculum, course outlines, facilitator and participant guides, exercise guides, job aids, show me videos, relevant assessment tools, etc. Incorporates training methods that support all learning styles in the delivery of training programs. + Uses consultative and problem-solving skills to work independently with stakeholders to identify solutions for training requests. + Facilitates training in various formats such as classroom instructor led, Skype webinars, lunch and learn webinars, etc. + Creates assessments using evaluation methodologies and tools that measure the impact of successful knowledge transfer for internal and external learning programs. + Assists with various initiatives such as mentorship program and 360 assessments. + Performs administrative tasks such as scheduling classes, coordinating enrollment and tracking course attendance. Plans and coordinates meetings, conferences, workshops and networking events for cohort based executive development programs. + Supports the implementation of training through interaction with location leaders and functional department leaders. + Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. **What Youll Need** + Strong instructional design skills across various applications and technologies, including multimedia, curriculum and course development. + Advanced communication skills to effectively interact with technical subject matter experts in determining business needs, promote learning and development curriculum, collaborate with leaders, and advise colleagues on development needs and career path. + Strong analytical skills with respect to evaluating training programs, methods, and materials. + Advanced facilitation skills in the delivery of courses. + Advanced working knowledge in adult education methodologies and the ability to apply to course development and delivery. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to create presentation tools and materials, and training documents. + Strong organizational and project management skills and able to lead multiple projects forward and effectively leverage available resources. + Strong team player with self-discipline and motivation to work independently with little or no supervision and maintain a high degree of productivity and accuracy. **Company Benefits and Perks** Convergint fosters a supportive, accessible, and inclusive environment in which individuals of different backgrounds and identities are able to realize their maximum potential within the company.
