Qualifications - Expert project management skills, including developing project schedules
- Expert knowledge and use of Microsoft Project
- Ability to merge multiple project schedules into one integrated master schedule
- Experience with generating project metrics based on schedules
- Experience with resource planning
- Experience with project status reporting
- Ability to interface with all levels of a project
- Experience with conducting project meetings and project tracking
- Ability to adhere to quality standards and review project deliverables
- Participates in weekly In Progress Reviews (IPRs) with the client and other project stakeholders
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of experience with project scheduling across multiple complex projects
Responsibilities - To support DMDC SWQA transition and transformation (roadmap) schedule requirements
- Manages overall program management schedule including transition and transformation activities
- Monitors individual in-flight project schedules and rolls into the overall program schedule
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resources plans, and status reports.
- Reports program progress, status, forecast to Program Manager
- Provides input to PWS 4.5.1 Monthly Status Review (MSR), PWS 4.5.2 Weekly In-Progress Review (IPR), and PWS 4.5.3 Annual IPR
- Participates in weekly IPRs with the client and other project stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple on-going testing projects
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field and 8 years of experience
- In-depth understanding of Project Management/Scheduling practices
- Knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Proven ability to use MS Project to manage projects
- PMP certification desired
