Convergint is excited to announce that we are looking for interns that are looking to work on low voltage and electronic security systems or as an office administration colleague. We are an inclusive and diverse company and looking for our next great Convergint colleague. Under direct supervision, field colleagues will be responsible for installing, help with system start-up/check-out, and certification on assigned Fire or Security projects. Also delivers assigned projects effectively and within budgeted cost and time schedules with guidance as needed. Administration colleagues will help our admin team with data entry, project budgeting, and other admin duties as needed.

**What youll do with Our Training and Your Experience**
Field Technical Colleagues -
1. Help installs, test, repair, and service a variety of electronic security systems and equipment provided by Convergint. This includes video surveillance, access control, intercoms, alarms, fire, and or physical banking equipment.
2. Works closely with the Project Managers, Team Leads, or Service Supervisors for providing technical install and service support for our customers.
3. Can interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
4. Can help troubleshoot and help repair equipment using standard testing practices and tools.
4. Provides basic install and service assistance directed by a team lead.
5. Performs duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Admin Assistant Colleagues -
1. Answers phone inquiries, handles incoming and outgoing mail and provides general office administration support. Represents the company by welcoming visitors, answering questions and handling general requests as needed
2. Completes projects and special assignments by determining priorities, managing time, and making adjustments to plans
3. Prepares a variety of reports, analyzes data, creates job files, identifies and recommends solutions
4. Assists Project Managers and other colleagues with contract administration, change orders, subcontractors, tracking shipments, sales or operations meeting preparation, miscellaneous paperwork (e.g. certificates of insurance) and financial reporting.
5. Acts as back up for other office jobs
6. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required
