Lead Fire Alarm Inspector
**Description**
Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Lead Fire Alarm Inspector to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will perform test and inspections on commercial fire alarm systems, as well as minor deficiency repairs. **What youll do with Our Training and Your Experience**
+ Test and inspect, commercial fire-alarm systems within assigned buildings.
+ Ensure required testing equipment and materials are on site for effective and safe testing and inspection process.
+ Identify and report problems or discrepancies found in the systems you inspect.
+ Complete required documentation including deficiency repair recommendations using Building Reports.
+ Follow and maintain highly structured inspection schedules.
+ Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tests performed.
+ Complete service ticket documentation before leaving customer site.
+ Provide instruction to customer personnel regarding proper system operation and routine inspections.
+ Interact with building owner or building engineer prior to, during, and following completion of the testing process.
+ Ensure customer satisfaction with all inspections and testing.
+ Review reports and initiate next steps as necessary.
+ Follow all local, corporate, and OSHA safety procedures and policies.
+ Complete assigned training and certification within time frames required for the position.
+ Main train or assist less experienced colleagues on the job.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
**What Youll Need**
+ Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
+ Willing to learn technical skills and/or experience related to fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems.
+ To be a self-starter and work well with direct supervision.
+ Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, crimper).
+ A valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
+ Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis. Minimal overnight travel may be required.

**Requirements:**
Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience
Experience: 1-3 years field service experience testing and inspecting fire alarm systems
