Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven Lead Fire Alarm Inspector to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will lead a team of fire alarm inspectors in the testing, inspection, and service\u0026nbsp; of fire-alarm systems in assigned buildings. You will identify and report any problems or deficiencies found in the systems you inspect.\u0026nbsp; You will ensure complete customer satisfaction with all inspections under your direction.\u0026nbsp; This is a customer-facing role, one that is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects.\u0026nbsp;As a Lead Fire Alarm Inspector, you will be part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

What you\u0026rsquo;ll do with \u0026ldquo;Our Training and Your Experience\u0026rdquo;

  • Test, inspect, and service commercial fire-alarm systems within assigned buildings.
  • Ensure required testing equipment and materials are on site for effective and safe testing and inspection process.
  • Identify and report problems or discrepancies found in the systems you inspect.
  • Complete required documentation including deficiency repair recommendations.
  • Follow and maintain highly structured inspection schedules.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tests performed.
  • Complete service ticket documentation before leaving customer site.
  • Provide instruction to customer personnel regarding proper system operation and routine inspections.
  • Interact with building owner or building engineer prior to, during, and following completion of the testing process.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with all inspections and testing.
  • Review reports and initiate next steps as necessary.
  • Follow all local, corporate, and OSHA safety procedures and policies.
  • Complete assigned training and certification within time frames required for the position.
  • Main train or assist less experienced colleagues on the job.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

  • Ability to become proficient with Building Reports, for documentation of testing and inspections.
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and design drawings.
  • A valid driver\u0026rsquo;s license with a clean driving record.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent education or experience.

Minimum Experience: 1 years of relevant field service or customer service experience.

Preferred Experience (but not required):\u0026nbsp;

  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: electronics, fire alarm \u0026 life safety, and/or building automation.

Certifications \u0026 Licenses: None required.
