What you\u0026rsquo;ll do with \u0026ldquo;Our Training and Your Experience\u0026rdquo;

  • Act as \u0026ldquo;our customer\u0026rsquo;s best service provider\u0026rdquo; at all times thereby ensuring Convergint Technologies is the customer\u0026rsquo;s first choice for service.

  • Conduct fire alarm testing and inspection.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;
  • Report problems or discrepancies resulting from the inspection.\u0026nbsp;

  • \u0026nbsp;Monitor fire alarm panel.\u0026nbsp;

  • Complete reports and paperwork associated with the inspection.\u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp;

  • Interact with building owner or building engineer prior to, during and after completion of the testing process.\u0026nbsp;

  • Review report results and next steps as necessary.

  • Share reports with other departments in order to resolve issues or discrepancies.

  • May train or assist less experienced/newer colleagues on the job.

  • \u0026nbsp;Ensure proper testing equipment and materials are onsite for effective and safe testing and inspection process.\u0026nbsp;

What You\u0026rsquo;ll Need

  • Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and design drawings.
  • Developing exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good English speaking and reading skills.

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum Experience:\u0026nbsp;

  • Minimum of 5 years of previous, relevant field experience\u0026nbsp;
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries is helpful: electronic/electrical, fire alarm \u0026 life safety, and/or sprinkler systems
  • Valid drivers license required. Local travel to job sites and minimal overnight travel is required.
  • NICET II certification or Fire Alarm ITM
  • Willingness to participate in the training and development of junior inspectors

Preferred Experience: (but not required):\u0026nbsp;

  • Experience with EST products a plus.
  • NICET certification a plus.
