We take great pride in protecting the lives and assets of our customers and their communities with the solutions we provide. **What youll do with Our Training and Your Experience** + Act as our customers best service provider at all times thereby ensuring Convergint Technologies is the customers first choice for service. + Conduct fire alarm testing and inspection. + Report problems or discrepancies resulting from the inspection. + Monitor fire alarm panel. + Complete reports and paperwork associated with the inspection. + Interact with building owner or building engineer prior to, during and after completion of the testing process. + Review report results and next steps as necessary. + Share reports with other departments in order to resolve issues or discrepancies. + May train or assist less experienced/newer colleagues on the job. + Ensure proper testing equipment and materials are onsite for effective and safe testing and inspection process. **What Youll Need** + Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and design drawings. + Developing exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted. + Basic math skills. + Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. + Good English speaking and reading skills. **Company Benefits and Perks** Convergint fosters a supportive, accessible, and inclusive environment in which individuals of different backgrounds and identities are able to realize their maximum potential within the company. Local travel to job sites and minimal overnight travel is required. + NICET II certification or Fire Alarm ITM + Willingness to participate in the training and development of junior inspectors Preferred Experience: (but not required): + Experience with EST products a plus. + NICET certification a plus.
