This position will join the Deposits Fraud Prevention Operations Strategy team and will be responsible for developing customer authentication and fraud prevention/investigation processes. The incumbent will collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders: fraud analytics, reporting, infrastructure, corporate risk, AML, customer service, and other functions in order to develop and maintain effective, efficient, and fully compliant fraud operations processes

Responsibilities

  • Develop/enhance fraud prevention/ investigation processes and customer authentication processes for various types of fraud (application and first party fraud, account take over, transactional fraud)
  • Create process flows, procedures and operational readiness items for bank fraud agents related to all technology and process enhancements projects
  • Establish operational procedures to manage risk and apply decision strategies
  • Identify opportunities to improve operations by analyzing data, listening to customer calls, interviewing staff, and observing workflows
  • Develop KPIs, create, and disseminate reports pertaining to the field operations process
  • Research, develop and present findings for fraud operational enhancements to senior headquarters and field management

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Analyst, Customer Service Management, Fraud Investigation, Process Improvements, or Consulting
  • In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in Fraud Investigation, Process Improvement

Preferred Qualifications

If we had our say, we'd also look for:

  • Previous exposure to or designation of Lean Six Sigma (process improvement, etc)
  • Familiarity with SQL or any other form of database querying language is a plus
  • Capacity/WFM planning experience and call center technologies (dialer, IVR, skip tracing, etc.
