Responsible for coordinating and facilitating day-to-day incident response across the company. Provides guidance and support for the handling of incidents, determines severity levels, and assists with escalation.

  • Ensures that the production of incident reporting is timely, accurate, and complete.
  • Participates in working groups, where appropriate, to understand current and future threats and best-in-class incident response programs.
  • Coordinates and facilitates day-to-day incident responses across the company.
  • Provides guidance to incident responders and owners for handling incidents. Determines when escalation is needed based on the priority and severity of the incidents.
  • Coordinates efforts among multiple business units during a response. Provides updates to stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Participates in the design, coordination, and delivery of mandated incident and crisis management rehearsals

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in incident management, corporate crisis management, information security, or emergency operations centers
  • In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of experience in incident management, corporate crisis management, information security, or emergency operations centers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work extremely well under pressure while maintaining a professional image and approach.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily-understood manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including expertise in the documentation of incident handling responses and in creating and delivering reports and presentations. A proficiency in Microsoft Applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel...)
