Job Description

Card Installments is a product group within Lending Innovation that seeks to build capabilities that enable customers to Buy-Now-Pay-Later at various stages in their purchasing journey leveraging the existing available credit endowed to them by their card products. Card Installments is a strategic area, with a multi-year roadmap including the build and launch of new products with new and existing partners as well as enhancements to existing in-market capabilities.

The associate in this role will sit on the program management team and be responsible for helping product owners develop project plans, identify dependencies, coordinate elaboration sessions with co-dependent products, own project status communications, and facilitate various go-to-market readiness activities.

Responsibilities

• Establish key project milestones inclusive of product discovery, design, build, and go-to market activities
• Design key engagement ceremonies with product owners and stakeholders to drive project execution
• Identify and resolve key project impediments utilizing agreed upon escalation frameworks and mitigation tactics
• Maintain an ongoing deep knowledge and documentation of key project artifacts
• Create transparent and accurate updates on project status and socialize those updates with all relevant stakeholders
• Identify, coordinate and sequence dependencies on other product teams; Help remove impediments for the team
• Co-drive commitment for critical dependencies including facilitating elaboration sessions, helping to secure resources, etc.

What We™re Looking For:

• Familiarity with Buy-Now-Pay-Later solutions (at a minimum as a user)
• 3+ years of project management or relevant experience
• Deep understanding of project management techniques, principles, and best practices
• Ability to define and map key project deliverables and milestones
• Experience in defining and building out cross-functional engagement models
• Capable of adjusting and reacting to evolving business priorities
• Committed to building partnerships to drive alignment and finalize key decisions to achieve desired outcomes
• Effective written and verbal communicator with excellent reasoning, organizational and presentation skills
• Demonstrable experience working in banking or with financial products
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, Confluence, JIRA
