**What youll do with Our Training and Your Experience**
+ Responsible for the application engineering, programming, troubleshooting, start-up, and check-out of assigned installed projects including small to medium projects that are less complex.
+ Individuals work shall be in accordance with the established quality standards.
+ This role is the technical support contact for our customer and is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction with installed Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation Systems.
+ Ensures projects are effectively executed to budgeted cost and time schedules.
+ Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
**What Youll Need**
+ Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems.
+ Basic programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.
+ Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper).
+ Frequent visits to jobsites are required. Minimal overnight travel is required. Valid drivers license required.
+ Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel); basic networking & IT skills (Security & Building Automation primarily).

**Requirements:**
Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
Preferred Experience: (but not required):
+ 1-3 years low-voltage systems project
+ Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation

**Education**

+ High School or better

+ Associates or better in Electronics Technology
**Experience**

+ Security Software and/or Industry related certificates
+ 3-5 years: Security Industry Experience

+ Construction background a plus
