  • The M&A Integration Manager will be responsible for successfully leading and managing multiple integration initiatives, ensuring newly acquired entities are properly integrated (culture, systems, policies and processes) and Ryan captures the maximum synergies and deal benefits.

     

    Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results

    People

    • Leads and manages multiple integration initiatives, successfully delivering each on-time, within scope and budget, realizing quantifiable benefits/results
    • Partners with cross-functional stakeholders, team members, and acquired companies to effectively prioritize and plan the completion of all integration milestones/work

    Client

    • Supports pre-transaction integration planning and post-transaction execution to proper business integration and accuracy of critical business data
    • Develops and deploys an Integration Framework and Playbook based on best-in-class principles, standards, and templates/tools to effectively and efficiently complete integration activities
    • Builds and manages detailed program/project plans ensuring all major milestones are met, budgets are managed, interdependencies are aligned, and key stakeholders are satisfied
    • Provides timely status reporting of milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues to M&A lead, executive owners, and leadership

    • Designs and delivers integration Change Management strategies and plans that include proper and timely communications, training, and/or readiness materials to ensure a smooth transition of new processes, policies, and systems
    • Seeks to improve upon our M&A Integration Framework and Playbook to evaluate and implement best practices and learnings as it relates to corporate transactions, integration planning, and performance measurement
    • Defines and executes mitigation plans to minimize risks
    • Performs other duties as assigned

     

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 7-10 years of successful M&A integration professional experience

    • 3-5 years of leadership/management experience
    • MBA preferred
    • Finance knowledge and experience preferred

     

    Essential Skills Required:

    • Demonstrated ability to work on and manage multiple cross-functional projects with tight deadlines in a dynamic and collaborative environment
    • Proven ability to lead and manage diverse, cross-functional, global and senior project teams
    • Excellent written (email, PowerPoint) and verbal communication skills across multiple levels of the organization (senior executives, managers and SMEs)
    • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thought leadership, proactively identify problems and developing and aligning key stakeholders to alternative solutions/plans in order to achieve integration milestones and complete projects
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and build strong relationships in a rapidly evolving project environment
    • Detail-oriented and strong commitment to producing high-quality work
    • Understanding of basic financial metrics
    • Strong drive for results and continuous improvement
    • Demonstrated experience with Program/Project Management
    • Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

     

    Computer Skills:

    • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.

     

    Certificates and Licenses:

    • PMP Certification (preferred)
    • Valid driver’s license (required)

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    This position is responsible for leading a group of indirect project team members and may require managing three to four direct reports.

     

    Work Environment:

    • Standard indoor working environment.
    • Long periods of sitting while working at computer.
    • Occasional long periods of standing.
    • Position requires regular interaction with employees and vendors both in person and via e-mail and telephone.
    • Independent travel requirement:  up to 25%.
