Manager, North American Project Management Office

Job Responsibilities:\u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp;

1.\u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; Develops and establishes the role of the North American PMO, creating a center of excellence within the organization.

2.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Drives the development and implementation of standards and business aligned tools for the PMO that support the delivery of complex projects.

3.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Owns and supports Project Management Training for the organization and works with National/Regional leaders on delivery.

4.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Empowers the PMO to identify project risks and develop/implement strategies to minimize these risks.

5.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Oversees PMO colleagues and monitors resource requirements for the PMO. Works with leadership on resource plans ensuring resources are utilized and efficient and recovered against active project work.

6.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Ensures the PMO proactively engages with business leaders to ensure visibility of pipeline project work.

7.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Proactively engages PMO resources in the support of local / strategic teams in early initiation of project risk mitigation.

8.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Maintains communication lines at national, regional, and local level on supported projects

9.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Regularly evaluates the PMO processes and project practices to ensure they remain current and efficient

10.\u0026nbsp; Ensures all PMO policies are followed and understood by providing clear direction, communication and monitoring compliance with policies and standards.

11.\u0026nbsp; Oversees the implementation of project reviews by the PMO, based on risk factors.

12.\u0026nbsp; Ensures the PMO team translates the needs of strategic initiatives into project delivery plans and supports the training and implementation to internal stakeholders.

13.\u0026nbsp; Proactively communicate project updates to relevant stakeholders.

14.\u0026nbsp; Ensures the PMO acts as our customers best service provider.

15.\u0026nbsp; Engages in the proposal response process as required to ensure compliance and accuracy in the proposed project delivery plan.

16.\u0026nbsp; Coaches, mentors, develops, and leads a team of high performing Project Managers.

17.\u0026nbsp; Promotes and adheres to applicable health and safety legislation and Convergint safety policies.

18.\u0026nbsp; Acts as an ambassador of the Company internally and externally.

19.\u0026nbsp; Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
