Manager, Project Management

Infront X is looking for a Manager, Project Management who can work at a fast pace and deliver custom solutions for our clients, leaders in the sports, media and entertainment industries.  You would join a solid team and work to design, develop, build, deploy and maintain complex systems and projects.

Leadership and Team Management

  • Leads, mentors, and directly manages a team of Project Managers, Delivery Managers, and/or Project Coordinators in delivery processes and best practices; thus supporting consistent delivery improvement
  • Assures all projects within the business unit are staffed appropriately for project management
  • Promotes and ensures the correct application of Infront X’s delivery standards and processes for all project team members
  • Removes roadblocks to success and acts as an escalation point to senior leadership
  • Develops delivery strategies to support large commercial opportunities for new and existing clients

Project Management

  • Effectively leads multiple large-scale projects throughout all phases of the delivery lifecycle (initiation, scoping, execution, release, maintenance)
  • Manages timelines, budgets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables are clearly communicated, understood, and executed upon
  • Oversees multiple ~10+ person cross-functional project teams of architects, designers, development and quality assurance engineers distributed over different geographic locations
  • Facilitates and leads project related meetings for relevant working groups or programs. Tracks the action items generated and reports back to the larger group with notes and details
  • Provides transparent and clear reporting to the client, leadership, and other relevant parties on status, progress, budget, projections, and results
  • Identifies issues and problems promptly, and manages them to resolution, elevating those that require leadership attention
  • Evaluates results and performance via project health data, and recommends changes to projects, approaches, processes, documents, and other areas to increase effectiveness
  • Conducts the estimate process efficiently in partnership with the Product Management team using a shared WBS and assumptions
  • Controls resource allocation based on scope and budget
  • Manages all risks and blockers to resolution
  • Runs project scrums, team standups, and retrospectives
  • Overcomes obstacles to achieve results

Client Management

  • Builds and maintains client partnerships that drive client satisfaction and retention
  • Consistently manages client expectations, ensures the highest quality service, and solicits feedback and acts on it
  • Coordinates with clients when problems or conflicts occur that might impact the timely completion of work
  • Acts as a client point-of-contact for all day-to-day project related issues



  • 7+ years in project management; 5+ years delivering projects that include responsive web systems and mobile applications
  • Well-versed in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Must be responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and changing environment, and consistently demonstrate a high-level of strong problem solving skills
  • Experience working with an engineering team to provide project estimates and prepare appropriate supporting justifications/assumptions—explaining relationship to budget, scope, timelines/milestones, and success criteria
  • A deep understanding of digital technologies used to develop real-time web sites and mobile applications, including Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML and JSON file transforms and handling
  • Experience with core technologies utilized in the delivery of Infront X projects, such as:
    • Content Management Systems
    • Digital Asset Management Systems
    • Video Content Management Systems
    • Web Analytics
    • Advertising Platforms
    • Push Notification Systems (UrbanAirship, Braze, Fabric)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) (or equivalent) certification preferred
  • Must have digital agency and/or professional services experience 
  • Knowledge of, and a passion for, sport, media, and entertainment preferred
