Your Role and Responsibilities
Drive an Enterprise IT transformation effort with a 3rd party vendor, by creating a project plan, acceptable to executives, reflective of technical practicalities, and measurable in its execution. Drive delivery organizations in IBM and in the 3rd party to accomplish the transition actions, with prudent escalation to executives, negotiation among the teams, and identification and resolution of issues. Create an executive oversight and governance system for the transition, enabling near real-time assessment of the actions and completion efforts. Provide periodic reporting on transition efforts at both technical and managerial levels. Extend the transformation methodology from this 3rd party activity to other transformation needs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 4+ years of program management of large-scale, complex IT transformations, including the creation of detailed plans and tracking methods.
  • PM certification.
  • Knowledge of network technologies and their application and operation, such as switching, routing, WANs, Firewalls, wifi, radius, DHCP, DNS, proxy systems.
  • Experience in creating oversight methods for complex projects.
  • Experience in providing executive status briefing.
  • Experience in detailed tracking of activities and creating methods of identifying when the activities are not executed as planned.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills



Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Certification in Networking
  • Certification in IT Security, i.e., CISSP
