St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking a Portfolio Effectiveness Business Partner to join our Operational and Clinical Integration Excellence team.

The Portfolio Effectiveness Business Partner tracks the progress of the organization’s highest priority strategic initiatives by designing metrics by which programs are measured. Evaluates opportunities and projects and supports the development of initial strategic business cases for strategic initiatives

Position Summary

The Operational and Clinical Integration Excellence (OCIE) Department is designed to support the identification and delivery of the highest priority initiatives across the organization aligned to the mission, vision, and strategic objectives of St. Luke’s. The OCIE is responsible for the maturity and development of the capabilities delivered through the core competencies of:

Portfolio management: provides system oversight of portfolio activities including monitoring and benefit realization across all initiatives
Centralized intake: facilitates review of organizational initiatives anchored to clear and established priority, urgency and value criteria
Portfolio delivery: designs, plans and supports execution of transformational and brand experience initiatives
Change management and program communication
Decision support: provides performance data to support timely, data driven decision making

Responsibilities

Assesses and monitors the risk of portfolio programs. Defines benefits realization standards and best practices for the organization.
Supports benefit realization efforts for the highest priority strategic initiatives of the organization.
Uses business knowledge and quantitative analytic expertise to help develop strategic business cases for strategic initiatives.
Defines KPIs and other key metrics for high-priority initiatives.
Serves as a liaison between project teams and stakeholders to ensure identified metrics can be supported by the organization’s data infrastructure.
Works with leaders to identify standard risk assessment policies and interfaces with the organization’s risk resources to ensure risks are appropriately measured and reported.
Supports closeout processes for projects, including final evaluation of effectiveness and ongoing tracking efforts.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
