As part of the Agile team, this role will act as a project leader and provide operational business support for business partners including project managing partner boardings and training partners on tools and systems. It will lead operational projects to implement new processors, releases and solutions, along with resolving escalated customer issues. This role will additionally be responsible for managing operational implementation and service projects with complex and large partners while coaching and training junior team members.


  • Seeks opportunities for improvement within the department including providing guidance and support on customer-impacting issues looking for holistic approaches to solve across multiple customers and processes.
  • Acts as coach and mentor implementation project managers. Coordinates and facilitates training for new and existing employees. May have oversight of personnel.
  • Subject Matter Expert on customer implementation processes, tools, and systems, network infrastructure, authorization and settlement applications and other internal systems, tools and products.
  • Manages unique and complex customer implementation projects that have strategic importance to the network.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Lead for strategic department projects, supporting other company project and initiatives.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology
  • 6+ years of experience in Payments, Technology, Operations, Customer Service
  • In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in Payments, Technology, Operations, Customer Service

  • Project Management Professional certification is a plus
  • SAFe Agile experience preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in the Financial industry
