DESCRIPTION

Job summary
Amazon Logistics is building technology to power a Last Mile delivery network that delivers packages to hundreds of millions of customers around the world. Geospatial data (e.g., road network, addresses, geocodes, and delivery instructions) is a foundational input to Last Mile systems for planning safe, efficient routes and for guiding drivers through the delivery/pickup process. Our team's mission is to collect geospatial data that is authoritative and comprehensive to ensure every package is delivered on-time and at the lowest possible cost.

Critical to that mission is learning accurate location coordinates for customer addresses. We are seeking an outstanding Principal Product Manager to raise the bar for our geocoding product. You will own the product roadmap for geocoding. Challenges will range from partnering with Science teams to learn different locations from past delivery data, leveraging a combination of third party data and internal ML models to learn locations for new addresses, and enabling ways for our Amazon customers to directly influence where we'll deliver their package.
