Our mission is to simplify our Financial Services customers journey to AWS with an agile and scalable data management and analytics service to expedite their time to insights. Financial services organizations analyze data from internal data stores like portfolio, actuarial, and risk management systems as well as petabytes of data from third-party data feeds, such as historical securities prices from stock exchanges and alternative data. FinSpace is a new service that removes the heavy lifting of building and maintaining a data management system for financial analytics so customers track and analyze their data, incorporate their own proprietary analytics, and access data and analytics from marketplaces to solve some of their most critical business problems.
We are looking for a Principal Technical Product Manager that that has experience managing large-scale global products, has a track record for developing a vision, defining a strategy and building programs and features for existing and new systems. This team has a fast-paced environment where we Work Hard, Have Fun, Make History. On a typical day, our product managers might talk to several customers, define and prioritize the roadmap, deep dive to root cause a customer issue, release the latest new feature, consult with the top engineers and designers at Amazon, define and report business metrics, create pricing strategies, do go-to-market planning, discuss radical new approaches to building and operating at scale, the list goes on. You will be surrounded by people who are incredibly smart, passionate about big data and analytics technologies, and believe that we are only scratching the surface of what our applications can really do to help customers everywhere.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop product and solution requirements, working backwards from the customer with primary focus products and services supporting the financial services industry.
- Build core content and compelling business cases to articulate investment priorities, industry use cases, competitive differentiation and benchmarking.
- Deliver enablement assets and training materials for sales and customer facing partner teams.
- Support marketing in building core content and website/promotional materials.
- Monitor the results of product launches, evangelism activities and marketing campaigns to reach target audiences effectively
- Establish customer and sales feedback loops to synthesize feedback and consolidate feature requests, providing category/market segment/workload specific requirements to engineering and driving follow-up actions and communications
- Work effectively across AWS with groups such as sales, business development, solutions architects, services, and evangelists to achieve business goals
Speak at events, deliver internal enablement activities, support trade shows, interact with customers/partners and engage with analysts/media
