The Impact You’ll Make in this Role.

As a Product Commercialization Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Providing technical leadership to the Project team as well as providing clear project timeline direction to the Cross functional Product Development Team ensuring the fastest, most cost-effective plans are created to deliver NPI projects through all stages of NPI process from concept to commercial launch
  • Leading product activities related to medical device or pharmaceutical products through multiple phases of the NPI process including concept, feasibility, development, commercial scale up and launch.
  • Managing Partner communication and interactions, financial aspects of assigned projects (forecasting of costs and sold R&D income) and internal communication of project status with Divisional Management.
  • Leading high performing cross function teams across multiple product platforms to deliver project activities in accordance with both good Regulatory, and Good Manufacturing practices and business guidelines: working with a broad range of customers/partners with widely varying knowledge bases and cultural backgrounds. Working with internal management at all levels of seniority
  • Implementing solutions, making and leading change to facilitate project deliverables on or ahead of time and to budget. Continuously improving project management processes and incorporating learning points from other projects.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of project management experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Knowledge of ISO 13485:2016 for Medical Devices, ISO 14971 for Risk Management and Design Controls
  • Strong demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical product development process from pre-clinical through formulation feasibility, development, scale up and launch
  • Medical device and /or Inhalation Product Development knowledge desired
  • Knowledge of Regulatory submission process through Product Development is advantageous
  • Cross functional team leadership experience

 

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

 

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
