Job Duties:

The Professional Project Manager is responsible for overseeing delivery of assigned development and data-driven project(s).  Provides a single point of contact for critical product investments and strategic initiatives.  Manages projects from original concept through final implementation and facilitates go to market readiness across departments.   Consults with stakeholders across products and technologies to understand objectives and prioritize business goals and information needs related to the project.  Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.  Understands funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of resources.  Well versed in project management, software development, and risk management with ability to drive towards issue resolution and assess impacts to business value / benefit delivery.  Tracks spend against project budgets and reforecasts schedules and costs.  


Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • 3 years minimum relevant / project management experience
  • 4 year Bachelor Degree
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools as well as software development cycle
  • Leadership skills with ability to drive activity and influence people across the organization.
  • Proven track record of success with:Ability to facilitate go to market readiness and work across departments to enable solution delivery as well as benefit realization
    • Identifying and quantifying issues and risks
    • Managing projects with complex dependencies.
    • Developing or managing project budgets and exposure to software capitalization.
    • Facilitating meetings cross functional and distributed teams.
  • Oral communication skills sufficient to explain business needs to stakeholders and team members.
  • Written communication skills sufficient to create complex project plans and easily digestible status reports.
