Our PMO Scheduler will help us pursue a growing line of business for our firm, working with federal clients and leading our on-the-ground program support team to drive technological innovation.

To work with our team and our clients, the PMO Scheduler will:

  • Provide scheduling support support for multiple IT projects with stakeholders at all levels including senior management/executives
  • Implement consistent planning, scheduling, and resource management processes to meet varying project sizes, scope, and needs
  • Prepare, maintain, analyze, and report on an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Attend key project meetings to discuss and review schedules
  • Develop status and report schedule performance and metrics (e.g., Earned Value Management)
  • Identify, monitor, and status project control milestones
  • Develop what-if scenarios and identify schedule risks and the potential impact to the project's/portfolio’s objectives
  • Demonstrate your thorough understanding of project scheduling fundamentals like critical path analysis and resource analysis
  • Work with multiple teams, including government stakeholders, to define schedule process improvements and translate needs into schedule requirements and long-term project plans
  • Document and control changes and revisions to a schedule
  • Prepare presentation charts and reports and participate in project reviews


Apply for Summit’s Program Manager position if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree and experience developing project schedules and integrated master schedules
  • a PMI-SP certification
  • 3+ years working on large-scale IT projects
  • 2+ years communicating and interfacing with federal government clients and project teams
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Project
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
