Program Manager

XXXXXXXXXXXX seeks a highly motivated candidate to join RADx team. This position will be responsible for leading new product development projects of moderate to high complexity involving hardware, software, and consumables,

Main responsibility is cross-functional management of project teams reporting to the General Manager

Specific Responsibilities • Lead cross-functional project teams as the Core team leader •

Lead or assist in developing project scope, user needs, design input, development and transfer plan, project schedule

• Deliver products on time, within budget, meeting performance goals

• Utilize tools such as risk management & problem solving to address project issues

• Work across functions to ensure required collaboration for project

• Present project status at regular program reviews, toll gate and exception reviews

• Interact with companies and functional leadership to keep them abreast of program status

  • Qualifications Required • BS in Engineering, Science, or Physics
    • 5 years of experience of cross-functional leadership for capital equipment product development
    • Track record of successfully taking products from concept to market
    • Experience with project budget and resource management
    • Excellent leadership, organization, planning, communication,
    presentation and facilitation skills.

• Ability to influence and collaborate across business functions.

• Advanced understanding of Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with heavy emphasis on Laboratory Regulatory environment

•Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Excellent presentation and/or facilitation skills.

• Excellent organizational skills • Possess clear, concise, and accurate written and verbal communications.

• Possesses strong skills in problem solving and conflict management

Preferred Additional Qualifications • Technical post graduate degree (MS, PhD) • Experience with Visual Project Management • Experience with biotech or laboratory instrument development

Salary Details

Program Manager will work with a Team Lead and Assistant Program Manager primary function participation in the assessment of projects aimed to deliver millions of screening test for COVID-19. Use cases Home, Schools, Doctor Offices, Large Working Places

Fast pace environment requires variable hours per day. Projects are assessed one per week and if the project is selected team moves forward with the project, if the assessment is not positive, team will move to assess another project.

We expect that a team will assess between of 8-12 non selected projects and work in 1 successful project.

Estimate duration May through end of August that can be extended to the fall
