The American Trucking Associations is searching for a detail-oriented Program Manager to oversee and execute image programs. This person promotes advocacy among industry leaders and the public by means of planning and executing premiere programs. This person finds creative ways to amplify the programs into those currently used and will search to find new and innovative member offerings.
The ideal candidate for this position will have proven success in planning and executing member programs. This role will also assist in the day-to-day operations of member-facing communications by providing excellent training, educational resources, networking opportunities, and focus groups to members.
BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS: -
Education/Background Requirements --
BS/BA in Communications, Business, Hospitality or related field plus 5 years’ experience.
Experience with developing and managing integrated programs and member engagement opportunities required.
Association experience a plus.
Skill Requirements –
Excellent oral and written communication
Experience with digital communications and social media
Strong interpersonal skills
Comfortable speaking to and making presentations to groups
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including presentation software and internet research is required.
Must have strong organizational, time and project management abilities, high attention to detail, with the ability to work under short deadlines
Must have the ability to work independently and with a team
