Northrop Grumman Mission Systems corporate Undersea Campaign team on a cross sector corporate effort to broadly integrate the undersea domain into the joint war fighting concept leveraging capabilities across all sectors and generate new corporate growth opportunities is seeking to fill a Manager, Programs 2 position .

The team is based out of the Washington DC metropolitan area with significant participation across the country at multiple NGC sites in each Sector. The Undersea Campaign ( https://oursites.myngc.com/CORP/GR/EC/SitePages/Undersea.aspx ) is a 3 year effort executing from Jan 1 2021 through December 31, 2023, with a charter to identify and execute on growth opportunities leveraging the corporate undersea capabilities integrated with capabilities across the corporation. The campaign is supported by employees in all four sectors and all disciplines, representing the ideals of 1NG. Day to day the campaign involves:

+ Capability development and demonstration projects
+ Modeling, simulation, and analysis projects examining the mission effectiveness of capabilities in the joint war fight
+ Customer and internal stakeholder engagements
+ Engagement across all corporate campaign mission and technology campaigns

The Program Manager 2 Undersea Campaign Program Manager is a full time position whose responsibilities include:

+ Management of overall campaign cost and schedule performance
+ Support campaign strategy refinement and execution
+ Support customer and internal stakeholder engagements
+ Support capture activities
+ Oversee campaign staffing
+ Provide day to day support to campaign leadership

This position will report to Mr. John Tammen, Director of Strategic Planning within the Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) Maritime/Land Systems and Sensors (MLSS) division. Mr. Tammen is the deputy lead for the Undersea Campaign. The campaign lead is Dr. Alan Lytle, VP of Strategy & Mission Solutions within MLSS division. The campaign chief engineer/mission architect is Dr. David Smallwood, Chief Mission Architect for the Undersea within the MLSS division. This position will include occasional travel between Northrop Grumman Corporation worksites in Maryland and Northern Virginia, as well as occasional travel outside the local area. It is expected the candidate will be based out any of the following locations: Annapolis, Linthicum, Colshire.

Qualifications - Internal

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelors Degree with 9 years or Masters Degree with 7 years
+ 3 years of demonstrated experience in program management, with an emphasis on cost/schedule planning and execution
+ Familiarity with corporate Internal Work Order (IWO) processes
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to present and articulate issues, strategies and solutions to senior customers and Northrops senior management team.
+ Active SECRET clearance with
+ Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance with access to Special Compartmented Information (TS-SCI)

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Active Top SECRET with Special Compartmented Information (TS-SCI) access
+ Knowledge and understanding US Navy customer community and operations
+ Experience in the Navy requirements development, budgeting and acquisition process

Salary Range: $137,000.00 - $205,600.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
