In this role, you will be responsible for building and developing engineering strategies that implements and elevates customer programs for Convergints Strategic/Global Utility accounts. We take great pride in protecting the lives and assets of our customers and their communities with the solutions we provide. **What** **Y** **oull Do** Team leadership responsibilities include: + Develop and coach and colleague to understand and employ current best practices to deliver at a high level on customer programs + Provide direction and leadership for all aspects of multiple CTC engineering activities for the Utilities vertical market including, but not limited to, the following: engineering planning, process development, qualifying potential business, engineering review of proposals and bookings. Develop and implement engineering strategies that improve execution and provide additional value to customers in a cost-effective manner. Devise and execute procedural changes needed to ensure success. + Collaborate closely with other Convergint teams, i.e., professional services, design engineering, customer success, other verticals, etc. to improve internal processes and customer project and service delivery + Drive collaboration between regions and CTCs and ensure that best practices are implemented and shared across locations. Lead and assist with continuous growth year after year, through innovative solutions delivered in a repeatable, scalable and cost-effective manner. + Effectively communicate goals to the vertical team and coordinate closely with leaders across the organization. Maintains accurate and up-to-date records, and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports. + Proactively communicate with and seek feedback from all customers to continuously improve customer satisfaction. Meet with customers on a regular basis to ensure that we are providing quality installation / service and meeting their specific requirements. + Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required **What Youll Need** + Excellent organizational skills related to Engineering, process improvement, and regulatory guidance. + Broad based industry and market knowledge of network and low voltage building systems. + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project. + Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with ability to deliver presentations to multiple levels of an organization. + Confidence in contract negotiation and administration. + Strong work ethic with personal motivation to function individually and part of a team. + Ability to create internal and external organizational alignment through relationships, communicating vision and team building. + Understanding of appropriate levels of protection regarding to customer personnel, information, and property, both real and intellectual. + Accomplished leader that acts as a role model while guiding, developing and mentoring others within the organization. + Strategic thinker with analytical problem-solving tools and techniques. + Capabilities in implementing program deliverables, leveraging understanding of cultural differences in business practices for other regions or countries. **Company Benefits and Perks** Convergint fosters a supportive, accessible, and inclusive environment in which individuals of different backgrounds and identities are able to realize their maximum potential within the company.
