You Are:

An Agile Program & Project Management Consultant that defines an adaptive delivery model based on greater collaboration and communication between teams. You support and promote the Agile impact on people, processes and tools, and based on iterative, time boxed and an incremental approach, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing and cross-function teams. You are an Agilist that promotes adaptive planning, evolutionary development and delivery and encourages a rapid and flexible response to change.

The Work:

The Program and Project Management Consultant is responsible for bringing the latest innovation and technology ideas to plan, deliver and execute technology solutions for Accenture or its clients. Work to ensure appropriate resources are mobilized and delivery meets operational, contractual, and economic commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

Program/Project Planning

+ Identify project key stakeholders and understand their goals and expectations of the project. Ensure goals and expectations are in alignment with project scope and priority.

+ Confirm the approach to assess the stakeholder goals and expectations throughout the project.

+ Confirm the project organization structure and clarify the project governance roles and responsibilities.

+ Plan the project upon confirmation of scope and responsibilities of all parties involved. If multi locations, ensure there are work packages with clearly define deliverable responsibilities and completion schedules.

+ Integrate project work plan with inputs from teams.

+ Confirm delivery and management processes and tools and launch project.

Release Management

+ Lead planning for individual releases, Plan and manage deployment.

+ Monitor release progress, Close release.

Work Planning and Management

+ Confirm work planning process and parameters. Configure work plan, including establishing the project resource pool.

+ Develop work plan for teams or consolidate work plans from teams or work plan owners.

+ Review the work plan(s).

+ Validate schedule, dependencies, and resource utilization within work plan(s).

+ Influence changes in scope, schedule, or resources to rebalance work or manage variances within the project.

+ Manage time tracked against the plan, to make sure that work is being completed on schedule, within budget, and with the appropriate level of resource utilization.

Deliverable Management

+ Create the Deliverable Responsibility Matrix based on input from the teams.

+ Establish the required processes and tools to make sure everyone understands their responsibilities and track the execution of those responsibilities.

+ Responsible for the timely delivery of a set of work products.

Quality & Risk Management

+ Manage peer reviews, deliverable confirmation and acceptance, and transition checkpoints.

+ Identify and raise project risks.

+ Mitigate risks.

+ Manage the initial escalation of risks.

Issue Management

+ Review, validate, and assign issues.

+ Track progress.

+ Manage issue review meetings.

+ Manage the initial escalation of issues.

+ Confirm and close resolved issues.

Scope Change Management

+ Review, validate, and assign scope changes for analysis.

+ Track progress.

+ Participate and/or support review and approval meetings.

Vendor Management

+ Monitor that request to completion.

+ Validate that the request has been met.

Defect & Requirements Management

+ Manage, review, prioritize, track them to closure, RCA, stakeholder the defect across the testing effort. Identify new requirements and manage scope that come out from these defects

+ Manage project requirements and traceability.

+ Manage requirements changes.

+ Establish metrics.

+ Track requirements-related metrics, manage the data collection and reporting.

Performance and Reporting Management

+ Collect and review performance status

+ Create Status Report

+ Explain variances

Time Tracking

+ Review time submitted to make sure time is being logged against the right tasks and work products in the work plan.

+ Update and publish the work plan with the new actual.

Program/Project Closing

+ Ensure all project deliverables in scope are completed and signed-off.

+ Create Project Closure Report.

+ Ensure project close-out activities are completed.

+ Confirm and close resolved risks.

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Heres What you Need:

+ A minimum of 3 years of experience in Program & Project Management & Client Relationship and/or Sales/Sales Support (Focused on Systems Integration projects, preferably custom application, digital solutions, or cloud-based implementations)

+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in Management of Agile Programs/Projects and/or Agile Coaching and in core Agile way of working

+ A minimum of 2 years technical acumen and understanding of Agile technical practices and how they operate within an Agile organization (CI, CD, XP, TDD, etc.).

+ A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and/or any other popular Agile practices and frameworks (e.g. Lean, Kanban, eXtreme Programming).

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

As required by theColorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $75,600 - $122,799 and information on benefits offered is here.
