Job Summary
TIO is seeking a Project Controls Analyst. Interested candidates will gain experience in project controls and earned value management and will be responsible for tracking, analyzing and reporting project data. Job Duties
- Under minimal supervision, perform project financial reporting including development of time- phased integrated budgets and schedules, Earned Value (EV) data compliance and reporting, cost accounting and ongoing management of cost and schedule integration
- Contribute to budgeting, cost control and variance analysis, risk management and financial support
- Support the development of forecasts and what-if scenarios; analyze/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data
- Support the organization of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and job cost accumulation
- Conduct workforce planning, forecasting and reporting
- Prepare Work Package documents; creation and maintenance of charge numbers
- Generate EV reports, graphs, and analysis, as required
- Accountable for internal/external reports on cost and schedule performance to Project Management and other stakeholders
- Support the project change control process
- Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to project needs
Requirements
Required Skills
- Typically, 2-5 years of project controls
- Knowledge of concepts and techniques related to project controls
- MS Excel proficiency to include advanced functions with spreadsheets such as data integration, pivot tables, advanced manipulation, and building templates
- Expert skills with MS Office
- Solid skills in analysis and reasoning
- Strong oral and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff, and attention to detail and work quality
- Ability to manage priorities in order to meet deadlines
- Experience supporting groups and teams on large projects in a fast-paced environment
- Respect, understand and value individual differences that embody the principles of diversity
Applicable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledgeable with EV tools such as Cobra, Open Plan
- Knowledgeable with Tableau or other similar reporting tools
- Experience or exposure in performing cost or schedule control and analysis functions
Minimum Requirements
- Requires a related university degree or equivalent experience (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration)
