Position Summary 

CTE’s Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for defining and maintaining standards that guide the execution of project management activities within the organization. CTE is seeking a full-time PMO Manager to administer the day-to-day tasks of the PMO. The responsibilities of the PMO Manager include providing direct support to the Senior Director of PMO and Training, providing guidance on PMO policies and processes, and collaborating with other department leaders to develop materials and training programs in support of our project management staff. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently to overcome obstacles, suggest better approaches, and communicate effectively – verbally, visually, and in writing. Attention to detail and the ability to support multiple assignments simultaneously are key.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop project management standards, policies, processes, and templates
  • Develop training program materials and implement training for project management staff
  • Support the evaluation of projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines
  • Monitor PMO reporting and assist team in reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills

  

Salary Range

  • $70,000 – $90,000

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Four-year degree
  • 3+ years PMO experience or relevant project management experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in MS Project, Smartsheet, or other project management software
  • Demonstrated history of collaboration and teamwork
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in English writing
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
